Elizabeth/the globe-trotter as the star was interested in a job that would propel her passion for development work. She was engaged with the internship coordinators from Alternatives Canada (Montreal-based NGO) who did the selection and training.

Interested in getting involved in development work but without prior experience

 

 

 

5. ACTION (sequence of events before, during and after your turning point)

 

From a total of 450 internship applicants, 45 were short-listed to attend a 2-day performance workshop and of which 15 were actually selected to do the internship programme. And the turning point was the moment when I learnt that I was part of the selected 15interns to work with Alternatives Canada.

Always go out for what you want to become and remain focused.
