As you may recognise, that's Dutch. I live in the Netherlands, in Amsterdam, and work in The Hague at IICD.

I'm working on Thematic Networks (TN)/Knowledge Sharing (KS), trying to 'collect and connect' - as a former colleague of mine so eloquently put it. In TN and KS we gather relevant information and materials to support our partners and colleagues making best uses of ICT4D.

But we also try and stimulate our partners and other people working with ICT4D to tell their story, make it available, so it can be shared with others. One of the platforms we use for knowledge sharing on ICT4D is the website www.iconnect-online.org.

As I mentioned, I live in Amsterdam, a city I enjoy very much. It is beautiful and offers a lot of entertainment, loads of bars and restaurants, and most of my friends live their. So it is easy to meet each other, and all distances can be easily covered by bicycle.
