Julius started out as refuge in the city kampala Uganda when he finished his computer studies/training in 1987. When he completed his computer studies in 1989 he got a job with Bank of Uganda as computer operator/ Assistant Banking officer. After 9 months of working he had a terrible accident that left disabled. He felt hopeless and helpless since he was paralyzed from his neck downwards. At the same time he lost his job with the bank and opted to go the village. A friend of his picked him up from the village to come back to the city to use two PCs to he had bought. He started using them for training doctors, nurses, and their families within the national hospital premise. He also extended the same training to the disadvantage young people who could not continue former education due to lack of school fees. With this training, they were able to secure their own jobs.
