This story took place around year 2000, in Lusaka Zambia,in the former work place; (ZAMCOM) of the dreamer.

There was the dreamer himself as the main actor and twelve participants. The dreamer was responsible for training then the participants were actively participating in training by giving inputs asking questions and giving feedback.

4. CHALLENGE (problem or task that triggered the…)

The highlight of the story is centered around the feedback session when participants started to give their comments. One of those comments surprised me and significantly change my personal views and choice of career . The surprise was that the dreamer had originally concluded that the work he had been conducting had gone terribly wrong and that was partly due to the fact that the dreamer knew from beginng that he was teaching an unfamiliar subject. Also the perception created by the difficult participants attitude and in some cases negative interest.

5. ACTION (sequence of events before, during and after your turning point)

After the difficult training session there was an evaluation of feedback session and participants were taking turns to give their comments.

And the turning point was the moment when… At that point, one participant, the most difficult one, stood up and made all the nicest things about me and the workshop, and to add icing on the cake, every persticipant agreed with her.
